The Arts in Cornwall

The South West has been a destination for artists and other creative minds for many years, and today it holds the next highest concentration of creative industry after the South East. The arts and other forms of culture are well served here in Cornwall, with such galleries as the Tate St. Ives and the Lemon Street Gallery, and venues like The National Maritime Centre, the Eden Project and Minack Theatre adding to the high standard.

There is a thriving creative trade here, augmented by the Falmouth University, with its emphasis on the arts. Many of the best designers here in the county have studied here.
